Welcome
Wednesbury Museum is Sandwell's Museum and Art Gallery. It is a purpose built Victorian museum, housing collections which include fine art paintings, old toys, one of the world's largest collections of Ruskin pottery and our Nostalgia Rooms showcasing everyday objects from the 60s and 70s. There is also a changing programme of temporary exhibitions and activities to run alongside them as well as a lively programme of events for all ages, community groups using the site and school holiday activities

The main door from the street is 94cm wide, this is left open when the museum is open. There is an internal door which opens automatically.
Getting around inside

The is a lift to the first floor then a further smaller platform lift up 5 steps equivalent into the galleries

We ask visitors to report to the reception desk on arrival so that staff can inform you about any required information and orientation.
However entrance to the museum is free
