Welcome
Glide into the exciting world of ice skating! The National Ice Centre offers a range of ice skating opportunities for those with disabilities and their families. Monthly relaxed skating sessions are held for those who would benefit from a calm and quiet environment while on the ice, with no music or flashing lights.
If you have little ones, children under the age of 5 can skate for free in a dedicated Tots Zone to help them grow confidence on the ice at their own pace.
Many of Great Britain’s bright young skaters train at the National Ice Centre so you’re in good company. Ice skating legends Torvill & Dean trained here in preperation for the 1984 Winter Olympics were they won Gold!
