Welcome

The Pods at Tom’s Eco Lodge bring year-round ‘Glamping’ to the Isle of Wight. The views from the front deck of the Pods looks out across the stunning landscapes of the west of the Island, with Tennyson Down, Freshwater Bay and the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival site visible in the distance.The creatively designed open-plan Pod layout is perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 or snug for a holiday with a family of 4.The kitchenette has a double hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, sink and utensils, as well as a table for 4. If you fancy dining alfresco, there is also a private BBQ and picnic bench on the terrace. Each pod has its own toilet and shower.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Toms Eco Pods by boat or ferry.
The nearest port is Yarmouth. The port is 3.5 miles / 5.6 km from Toms Eco Pods.

There are other ferry ports that you can come to, these are Fishbourne (Wightlink) and East Cowes (Red Funnel)

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Norton Taxi by calling 01983 759955.

Parking

There is parking near the venue. There are accessible parking spaces. Parking is free.
There is a communal car park, each accommodation has its own designated parking space. There are wheel barrows to transport your luggage to your accommodation. From the parking to the main entrance, there are 3 steps. There is no ramp and no lift.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights and natural daylight.
Lights are LED and energy saving. All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
No bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We try to use eco friendly cleaning products throughout our accommodation

From the main entrance to the kitchen, there is level access.
The work surface is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.
The hob is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.
The sink is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.

Accessibility equipment

Assistance dogs are welcome on site, there are varied spots for toileting area. Please may we ask owners/ assistants to clean up after their dogs. The only area where assistance dogs are not permitted is in with the wallabies.
We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.

There are various power points where mobility scooter or battery wheelchairs can be charged, please ask a member of staff on site.

You can hire mobility equipment from British Red Cross by calling 0344 871 11 11.

Emergency evacuation procedures

The pods are very small and there is only one main door. The pod is fitted with smoke detection, extinguisher and fire blankets
