Welcome

Timbers Country Lodge is a unique Grade II listed barn Complex located in the beautiful Norfolk Countryside.

Timbers Country Lodge serves delicious homemade meals made with locally sourced ingredients and we believe for the quality you receive. Timbers restaurant is one of the best restaurants near Kings Lynn, Downham Market Swaffham, Wissington and Marham.

Timbers Country Lodge offers you basic, clean, home from home comfort throughout all of our rooms.  Our prices are hard to beat in the local area for the facilities and services we offer.

You can get a taxi with Bishops Travel by calling 01366 321081. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

We have a car park. There are accessible parking spaces. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.
From the car park to the entrance, there is level access.

The door is 1625mm wide.
The main door is side hung and manual.

Some parts of the venue have low lighting.

Reception

From the main entrance to reception, there is 1 step. There is no lift and no ramp.
You can sit down at reception.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, bedside lamps, desk or table lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are halogen, LED and energy saving. TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
Some bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.
No bedrooms have level access. The bedroom nearest the main entrance has 1 steps.
All bedrooms are ensuite.
We have bathrooms with a separate shower.
Some toilets have handrails.

From the main entrance to the bar, there is level access. There is a portable ramp.

Public toilet

There is a public toilet for disabled visitors.
From the main entrance to the public toilet, there is level access. There is 1194mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 508mm high. The toilets have handrails.

Place to eat and drink

Bar, Restaurant & Forge

From the main entrance to the dining area, there is level access. To get to a table, there are no steps.
If you need table service, staff can help you.
The route through the dining area is 800mm wide, or more.
There is background music.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.
We cater for vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), nut free and vegan specific diets.

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. There is a portable ramp.
