Welcome

Behind its imposing granite facade, the Three Crowns is a magical mix of 13th century features and contemporary comfort and style. From beamed ceiling and huge inglenook fireplaces, to a glass atrium and stunning courtyard garden, the Three Crowns is a delightful place to enjoy great food and a comfortable stay.

The Three Crowns has 21 en-suite boutique bedrooms refurbished to a high standard and successfully blending character with modern design and convenience. In each room you will find a contemporary en-suite, a divinely comfortable Vi-Spring bed, flat-screen TV, internet connectivity, bottled water, bathrobes and i-pod docking stations.

Parking

There is parking near the venue. There are accessible parking spaces. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. There are marked bays in the vicinity of our building where, subject to availability you can drop off passengers and luggage. We have contrast markings on all glass doors, contrast markings on all full-height windows and high colour contrast between walls and doorframes.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, wall lights, floor standing lights, bedside lamps, desk or table lamps, spot lights and natural daylight.
Lights are halogen, LED and energy saving. Some lights can be controlled independently.
TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
All bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.
No bedrooms have level access. All bedrooms are ensuite.
We have bathrooms with a separate shower.

The menu is offered in large print.

There is background music sometimes.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.
We cater for vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), nut free and vegan specific diets.

The Three Crowns is in a semi-rural location so there are plenty of areas close to the building where dogs can be exercised. We have a dog pooh bin in our car park.
We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.

We have external power points in our courtyard.

Two ground floor rooms have additional facilities for people with certain mobility needs. This includes wider doorways, wet rooms with lower height wash basins, grab rails, raised height toilet etc.
