The cottage is situated in the heart of all the wonderful accessible North Yorkshire Moors and only 7 miles / 11.3 km from the coastal attractions and a car is the bestway to fully explore the area.
The trains that arrive at the Grosmont station are Esk Valley line from Middlesbrough to Whitby and of course is one end of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The heritage railway runs from Pickering to Grosmont, running times are limited during the winter time so it is best at all times to check their timetables.
