Welcome

Seafari Adventures are Oban's 5* Visit Scotland marine wildlife tour operator. Based in the conservation area of Easdale, 16 miles south of Oban we have a fleet of powerful RIBs which are purpose designed and built by us. Our Wildlife Tours depart throughout the day visiting the Gulf of Corryvreckan, home of the World's Third Largest Whirlpool.  Porpoise, dolphins and whales feed in these food rich waters along with many seals and the occasional otter. There are deer on the islands and seabirds in the skies which are also home to both the white tailed sea eagle and golden eagle. Our two hour nature spectacular is set amongst the many islands in the area.

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. The route is 1430mm wide, or more. The entrance is 1430mm wide.

To board our boats we use a concrete jetty which is a ramp. Our boats come alongside and our passengers step directly onto the tube of the boat and then take 2 steps down to the floor of the boat. Seats are "jockey seats" which mean our passengers sit astride the seats as if on a horse - there are foot rests and hand rails to hold on to. We have parent & child seats at the front of our boats so parents can sit with their young children. Should passengers need assistance in boarding we have plenty of crew around to help. Passengers who use wheelchairs have 2 choices, if they have seated mobility they may wish for us to help them on board without their wheelchair and help them to their seat. For passengers who wish to stay in their wheelchair we can remove a seat on the boat and lift the wheelchair into place and secure it. We will need advance notice of passengers with wheelchairs so we can enure we have crew around to offer assistance. Some modular wheelchairs cannot be lifted on board. We will request the dimensions of the wheelchair in advance.
