Welcome

Scalloway Pool is the perfect place to go for a more 'personal' swim.  Our building has a 17m main pool, toddlers pool, bubble pool and steam room.  We are fully accessible to all ages and abilities.  The pools are usually relaxed, with spacefor all activities.  We offer family fun sessions, senior steam and swim hours, ladies hours and adults only hours as well as public swimming sessions for all.  We run a very popular 'learn to swim' programme for ages 3+.  There's something for everyone at Scalloway Pool, our staff will be delighted to welcome you upon your arrival.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Scalloway Pool by bus.
Scalloway Public Hall - however the service will stop for you and pick you up from the main road outside the pool building upon request, The bus stop is 0.5 miles / 0.8 km from Scalloway Pool.

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Allied Taxi's by calling 01595690069. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

We have a car park. There are accessible parking spaces. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.
From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. The path is sloped.

Staff on shift will make disabled cutomers a priority in the event of an emergency, as per their training and our Emergency Action Plan.
