The outer doors to the Museum are always propped open during opening hours. The internal door muct be opened manually.

The accessible WC complies with the dimensions in BS 8300 2200mm x1500mm. There are the grab-rails colour contrasted from the background and an emergency pull-cord that reaches down to the floor.

This is a walking trail around Saffron Walden, the trail route can be seen on the image below.
Castle Ground
The castle grounds are a large grass area around Walden Castle, situated behind the Museums car park. There is no hard standing acess, all acess is via the grass.
