Welcome

Rudha Glas is a small bed and breakfast located on the island of Great Bernera on the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. The house has wheelchair ramps, a seat in the shower and guest rooms on the ground floor. Door widths are 74cm.

You can get to Rudha Glas by bus.
The bus stops right outside the accommodation. The bus stop is 0 miles / 0.0 km from Rudha Glas.

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Stornoway Taxi and Courier Service by calling 01851 704444. We have a transfer service for visitors.

We will provide a pick-up from the airport or ferry port.

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point does not have a dropped kerb.
From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.

We have a transport service, to take visitors from the car park to the main entrance.

Getting around inside

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, wall lights, bedside lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are traditional filament. All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
No bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We are a pet-friendly establishment. As a result, we cannot guarantee that all rooms are suitable for those with dog hair allergies.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.

From the main entrance to the dining area, there is level access. The route is 740mm wide, or more. The door is 740mm wide.
To get to a table, there are no steps.
The menu is offered in audio.
If you need table service, staff can help you.

The table and plates have high colour contrast.
We cater for sugar free (diabetic), gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), nut free, low fat and vegan specific diets.
