Welcome

The 5 mile mainly accessible walking trail, starts from the Great Stone Inn, Church Road in Northfield and finishes at the University of Birmingham boulder, where visitors can visit the Lapworth Museum of Geology.  The trail which passes more than a dozen ice age erratic boulders, takes you through Selly Oak Park which is fully accessible and along the Worcester to Birmingham canal, which has limited accessibility.  An alternative route after Selly Oak Park can be taken along Harborne Lane, right onto Bourn Brook Way and along New Fosse Way to the University of Birmingham as shown in the map here.  A full map can be downloaded from our website at erraticsproject.org
