Inside, it is spacious, bright and airy, with fabulous fell views. The open plan living-dining-kitchen area is perfect for sociable living. The ground floor also has a utility room and king size bedroom with en-suite wet room. Upstairs there is a superking bedroom (twin on request), large twin room (superking on request), family bathroom and cosy reading corner. Fast wi-fi, gas central heating and triple glazing ensure a perfect stay at any time of year. Outside there are 2 seating areas with views over the fells.

The exterior staircase to the front door (9 steps) is 1040mm wide. It has a handrail on each side. Each riser is 150mm, with 300mm tread depth. Having arrived at the front door, the threshold is 260mm high.

There is a small end section of worktop at the end of the peninsula that has a clear underspace. The worksurfaces are 900mm high.

The rear door is accessed via the utility room. The rear door is 720mm wide and has a threshold from the outside of 220mm.

Getting around outside
The house itself is elevated above the courtyard and car parking, so the nine main entrance steps have to be descended to access the seating areas. The main seating area is to one side of the house. The narrowest point on the access route is 660mm. There is also a sunny bench at the front of the house, with no access restrictions.
Cycle shed
There is level access from the rear door to the cycle shed (across a threshold). There is a staircase of nine steps from the courtyard to the cycle shed. The staircase has a hand rail and a cycle ramp.
Canoe store
The canoe store is under the cycle shed and is accessed alongside the rear staircase. There is level access from the courtyard, but guests would need to descend the nine step staircase to access the store from the house
