Level access
There is level access from the main entrance to:

Our log cabins are situated on a sloping site, however there is easy level access from the car park to the main entrance. There is a dedicated tarmac car parking space outside Rainster cabin with plenty of room for manoeuvring and unloading luggage

Accessible bedroom Rainster twin bedroom has 2 single electric profile, one basic one which raises up at the head and foot ends and one Volker height adjustable bed with cot sides. One bed can be removed on request to give extra space for carers to work form both sides.
There is a height adjustable wash basin with grab rails either side and an illuminated mirror and shaving point. There is a selection of mobile shower chair/commodes, with removable arms for ease of transfer, or static shower stools available. There is an extra ceiling heater and a heated towel rail.

There is a heated towel rail. A portable toilet frame, toilet seat riser and bath seat and boards are available.



Farmyard Laundry
There is no washing machine in the cabin but there is a laundry in the farmyard available for guest use, free of charge. Guests may also request a service wash.
Self catering kitchen

There is a pine dining table which is 770mm high with an underspace of 660mm. The table can be raised with blocks and a dining chair with arms provided on request. The wooden chairs have a seat height of 460mm. There is a 2 ring portable hob cooker that can be used on a lower trolley.


Lounge

There is plenty of space in the lounge for wheelchairs. There is a dual motor rise and recline armchair as well as two low seated sofas. To provide variable lighting there is a main spot light with a dimmer switch, a standard lamp with reading light and a small table lamp. There are double doors on to the decking area with seating and views over the farm fields

Shop
Farmyard Shop
The shop is situated in the farmyard which is down a steep slope from the cabin. It stocks basic supplies such as milk, bread, eggs, and some local produce.

Terrace
Rainster Decking
The decking area has countryside views and can be accessed through the double doors in the lounge or the main entrance. There is a wooden table and chairs so you can watch the farm animals and wildlife. There is knee space under the table of 650mm. The terrace is enclosed with railings and a gate - a useful area for assistance dogs to relax.


Children's Play Area
There is a small chidlren's pay area with a climbing frame and slide which is situated near the cabin on a slope.

Secure Cycle shelter
The lockable cycle shelter is situated half way down the steep slope to the farmyard and can be used by guests for storing their own bicycles whilst on holiday. There is a warm hose pipe for washing down bicycles, walking boots and your dogs muddy paws.

Guest information files in the cabin gives details of local services and emergency procedures.
Mobile phone reception is variable depending on your network. A coin-operated payphone is provided in the conservatory at the farmhouse for emergency use and is accessible 24 hours.
Guests can hire our Boma 7 off-road wheelchair to explore the farm fields and local trails.
To save space in the car you can order a delivery of local Peak District produce ready for your arrival.
