Welcome

The Quiet Site is a family run campsite situated in a secluded position amongst the stunning fells that overlook Lake Ullswater. This is a superbly maintained and very picturesque site, the facilities being housed mainly in old converted farm buildings. The Quiet Site are delighted to have received numerous awards over the last 30 years.  Winning awards for our holiday park is a testament to our commitment in providing you with the best and most sustainable stay possible. We are also home to Britain’s first Zero Waste shop on a Holiday Park and The Quiet Bar, often described as the best campsite bar in Britain.
