Welcome
Our Pullman Camping Coaches here at the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway are the perfect choice for a quirky staycation in the Lake District. Both of our Pullman Camping Coaches - Elmira and Maid of Kent - have undergone a major refurbishment thanks to National Lottery funding in partnership with the Ravenglass Railway Museum. As you step onboard, allow yourself to be transported back in time to a bygone era. The carriage’s original features have been uncovered and sympathetically restored, from the ‘Pullman Car No.’ plaque in the lounge to the beautiful marquetry that has been delicately repaired. Perfectly situated alongside the railway, a stay in the Camping Coaches is a truly immersive experience!
