Welcome

Hello and welcome to Puddingstone Distillery – the home of the multi-award winning Campfire Gin range.

We invite you to join us for an evening gin distillery tour or visit the shop on Fridays and Saturdays and enjoy a gin tasting. Learn about how we make our gins, the botanicals we use and how our core gins are complemented by limited edition and seasonal gins.

We are fully accessible for wheelchair users, please get in touch if you require any further information about specific access or need advice on planning your visit.

Level access

The main entrance has level access.

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with DMG Bevs Taxis by calling 01442 824105. You can get a taxi with Johns Taxis of Tring by calling 01442828828.

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point does not have a dropped kerb.
From the car park to the entrance, there is level access.

The main door at the distillery is accessible from the car park which is all on the same level. There is marked disabled parking in the car park but these are not directly in front of the distillery. There are closer parking spaces. On tour evenings the whole car park is available for tour guests. On Fridays and Saturdays the car park is also used by the adjacent farm shop.

There is a public toilet for disabled visitors.
From the main entrance to the public toilet, there is level access. The toilets have handrails.

Shop

Puddingstone Distillery

From the main entrance to the shop, there is level access. The route is 860mm wide, or more. The door is 860mm wide.
The route through the shop is 800mm wide, or more.

The main entrance to the distillery brings the visitor directly into the shop. There is a very low threshold at the door where the concrete outside becomes a wood floor inside.

We welcome assistance dogs and can provide water bowls for them. Please ask staff for assistance.

The nearest toilet area for assistance dogs is located just outside the main farmshop/distillery gates on grass verge.

Emergency evacuation procedures

We have emergency evacuation procedures for disabled visitors.

We have two fire exits – the main entrance door and goods in/out double doors. All accessible by wheelchair users. There is a 10mm high step where the wood floor transitions to the concrete floor from the distillery shop area to the goods in/out double doors. It is only necessary to go down the step if required to in an emergency.
