Welcome
Peterborough Cathedral is widely recognised as one of the finest Norman cathedrals in England. It is the burial place of Katharine of Aragon and also Mary, Queen of Scots, who was later reinterred at Westminster Abbey. The Cathedral is a great place to visit for all ages offering a range of activities, concerts and other events which are listed on the website. You can also download a free interactive app, with augmented reality animations for use on mobile phones and tablets. There has been a place of Christian worship on this site since the 7th century and the Cathedral’s core function as a centre of Christian mission and ministry continues to this day.
