Welcome

Near the centre of Thurso, Pentland Lodge House provides spacious 4 star accomodation.

As a family run B&B we aspire to make your stay convenient, pleasurable and comfortable.

Our 8 rooms can accommodate combinations of single, double (all king size or super king), twin and family.

All rooms have power shower ensuite, individual temperature control, free wifi, flat screen TV, desk and seating space in addition to the other standard items.

We are especially proud of our easy access ground floor room especially adapted with wheel chair users in mind.

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, wall lights, spot lights and natural daylight.
Lights are halogen, LED and energy saving. TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
All bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.
We have bed blocks.

The route to the bedroom is 810mm wide, or more. The bedroom door is 810mm wide. There is 1100mm at the side of the bed. The bed is 600mm high. There is 50mm under the bed.
The bedroom is flexible (either double or twin). The bathroom is ensuite. The bathroom door is 880mm wide.
The bathroom has a separate shower. The shower has a seat. The shower has a handrail.
The bathroom has a level access shower. There is a shower chair available. The level access shower has handrails.
The toilets have handrails. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the left. There is 750mm at the side of the toilet.

From the main entrance to the dining area, there is level access. The route is 800mm wide, or more. The door is 800mm wide.
To get to a table, there are no steps.
The menu is offered in large print.

We cater for sugar free (diabetic), vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), nut free, low fat, low sodium, high fibre, vegan, kosher and halal specific diets.

A member of staff lives on site and there will be someone within the building the majority of the time, there are contact details in the foyer in the event that a guest requires assistance.
