Welcome

O’Connors Campers owns a fleet of VW campervans available to hire for self-drive holidays. We offer fifteen classic splitscreen and bay campervans and four brand new official VW Californias. Our four, brand new VW California Campervans can travel throughout Europe and our classic campervans throughout the South West. We are located on the edge of glorious Dartmoor on the Devon/Cornwall border, We offer a wide range of campervans 2-6 berth. Some of the new VW Californias have automatic gearboxes. We are able to offer all sorts of help and advice when planning your campervan adventure.

Travel by public transport

You can get to O'Connors Campers by bus.
There is a bus stop in Okehampton High Street. You will probably have taken the 6A from Exeter which stops by the church. The bus stop is 0.5 miles / 0.8 km from O'Connors Campers.

There is a bus stop in the centre of Okehampton town approx 1/2 mile from our premises. We are up a very steep hill. We will happily collect anybody from the bus stop and drive you up to the workshop. Just let us know what bus you are on and give us a call when you arrive, It will only take us 2-3 minutes to get down to you. Plenty of room for your luggage and we can make multiple trips if there are lots of you!

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with C Cabs by calling 07980 451202.

We are able to help with all travel arrangements including trains, car hire, taxis and buses. Please contact Zoe for advice on 01837 659599

Parking

We have a car park. There are accessible parking spaces. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.
The route is 15000mm wide, or more.
We have a transport service, to take visitors from the car park to the main entrance.

You may drive right up in to our industrial unit to unload, the floor inside is flat level concrete

The main entrance has level access.
There is a permanent ramp.
The door is 3000mm wide.
The main door is sliding and manual.
When you arrive, we can help carry your luggage.

Access to our unit is very easy as you can drive right in. Wheelchair access is easy up a wide concrete ramp

From the main entrance to reception, there is level access. The door is 900mm wide.
You can sit down at reception.

Public toilet

From the main entrance to the public toilet, there is level access. The route is 900mm wide, or more.
The toilet door is 900mm wide.
The toilet seat is 600mm high. The toilets have handrails.

Getting around outside

Parking Area and Picnic area

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 900mm wide, or more. The entrance is 1500mm wide.

Our Parking and Picnic areas are flat and quiet - off the main road.
