Welcome

The Novotel Leicester is a modern hotel in the heart of the city, convenient for business or leisure guests. The hotel boasts easy access to many of Leicester's most exciting attractions, close to the Leicester Tigers Stadium and King Power Stadium, the National Space Centre and The Curve Theatre. It's easy to get here, with close connections to the M1 and onsite parking. Leicester Railway Station is within walking distance, while East Midlands and Birmingham International Airports a short drive away.

There is a public toilet for disabled visitors. The toilet is a Changing Places toilet.
Staff are available 24 hours a day.

We have emergency evacuation procedures for disabled visitors.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Novotel Leicester by bus and train.
St Margaret’s and the Haymarket bus stations are within 0.5 miles and offer connectivity to all local bus stations and National Express services. The bus stop is 0.5 miles / 0.8 km from Novotel Leicester.
The nearest train station is Leicester Train Station. The train station is 1 miles / 1.6 km from Novotel Leicester.

Leicester mainline railway station is less than one mile from our hotel, with Central London just over an hour away via the Midland mainline

By Car

Our hotel is only a 12 minute drive from the M1 Junction 21, delivering instant access to the UK motorway network.

By Plane

East Midlands Airport & Birmingham International Airport are within easy access of our hotel via the M1 and M69/M6.

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Swift Fox Cabs by calling 0116 26 28 222. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
You can get a taxi with A&B Cabs-Airport Taxi Leicester by calling 0116 298 9898. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

There is parking near the venue. There are accessible parking spaces. Parking is not free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.
From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.
The path is sloped.

For Parking please use postcode LE1 4SG. Take the left hand turn at Kimberly House off Vaughan Way on to Great Central street. Parking is located on your left and is sign posted.

Our parking is an open air car park and has no height restrictions and no barriers. All parking is on 1 level. 

Residential costs for over night is £10 for 24hrs, car registration must be given to reception upon arrival

We have 2 lifts.
You can get a lift to all floors.

The lift is 1620mm wide. The lift is 1400mm deep.
The lift says the floor number at each floor.
The lift buttons have raised numbers or letters.
The lift shows the floor number, at each floor.

Main Reception

From the main entrance to reception, there is level access. The check-in desk has a low section for wheelchair users. You can sit down at reception.

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have floor standing lights, bedside lamps, desk or table lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are LED. TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.

The bedroom is double. The bedroom has an interconnecting room. The bathroom is ensuite. The bathroom door is 890mm wide.
The bathroom has a level access shower. The level access shower has a seat. The level access shower has handrails.
The toilets have handrails. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the left and right. The toilet seat is 480mm high.
The bathroom has an emergency call system.
The walls and the bathroom fittings have high colour contrast.

Our accessible rooms offer you all the comforts of our standard rooms with added safety features for your peace of mind. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the front only.
There is 1570mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 480mm high. The toilets have handrails.

NineB Restaurant And Bar

From the main entrance to the dining area, there is level access. The route is 1680mm wide, or more. To get to a table, there are no steps.
If you need table service, staff can help you.
The route through the dining area is 800mm wide, or more.
There is background music.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.
We cater for sugar free (diabetic), vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), nut free and vegan specific diets.

Castle Gardens situated 0.3miles from the Hotel - Quaint park beside the river featuring blooming trees, gardens, picnic areas & walking paths.
