Welcome

The aptly-named, gorgeous North Star apartment in Alnwick is just as special as it sounds. Set within the prestigious renovated apartments in the Malthouse building in the very centre of Alnwick, North Star is fantastically located for exploring Northumberland’s central hub all on foot, including Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Alnwick Treehouse and Barter Books, which are all within 15 minutes; easy stroll from your front door.

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.

Leading straight from the hallway you’ll arriving into the gorgeous open-plan living space. The kitchen is very well equipped and contains the usual appliances and accessories such as an under-bench fridge and freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine (with an initial supply of pods) and cafetiere to enjoy fresh coffee. There’s also a breakfast bar with 2 stools for informal dining.

Lounge

From the main entrance to the lounge, there is level access. The route is 900mm wide, or more. The door is 900mm wide.

The lounge has a 4 seater and a 3 seater sofa. The Smart TV has full access to Netflix and there’s a portable Bose Bluetooth speaker too so you can enjoy your own music around the apartment. The speaker must not be removed from the apartment for obvious reasons.

The nearest toilet area for assistance dogs is a 2 minute walk away from North Star. There is a grassed area near the Windsor Gardens bus stop.
