Welcome

The Ben Doran surrounded by Alpine forests boasts of a gorgeous mountain view, nestled in its own sheltered seven-acre garden in the mountain village of Tyndrum on the northern edge of the Loch Lomond National Park. The hotel was built creatively with the unique feature of having the dining room and lounges on the top floor to offer guests spectacular views of the beautiful scenery. Another masterful touch can be found in the design of the bedrooms which are extremely spacious and boast all the comforts you need to make your stay at The Ben Doran as tranquil and relaxing as possible.

You can get to Muthu Ben Doran Hotel by bus and train.
The nearest bus stop is a five minute walk from our venue on the main road. The bus stop is 5 miles / 8.1 km from Muthu Ben Doran Hotel.
The nearest train station is Tyndrum Lower station. The train station is 10 miles / 16.1 km from Muthu Ben Doran Hotel.

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.
From the parking to the main entrance, there are 20 steps. There is no ramp and no lift.

From the main entrance to the bedroom, there is level access. There is a lift. The route to the bedroom is 1200mm wide, or more. The bedroom door is 620mm wide. There is 360mm at the side of the bed. The bed is 210mm high. There is 170mm under the bed.
The bedroom is twin. The bathroom is ensuite. The bathroom door is 620mm wide.
The bathroom has a separate shower. The shower has a handrail.
There is a shower chair available. The toilets have handrails. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the front only. There is 260mm at the side of the toilet.
There is 900mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 430mm high.
The basin is 210mm high. There is no space under the basin.
