Welcome
The Museum of Gloucester contains collections of national and international significance housed within a magnificent Victorian building. Telling the story of the development of the city, these wonderful collections cover prehistory including dinosaurs, Roman, Mediaeval, Tudor, Georgian, Victorian and the 20th century. There are also displays of fine and decorative arts including paintings, sculpture, ceramics and silverware with two temporary exhibition spaces and a vibrant and wide ranging exhibition programme. The award winning Gloucester Tourist Information Centre has now also relocated within the museum building where a wealth of detail on local attractions, travel and booking enquiries can be obtained.
