Travel by public transport

You can get to Museum of Bath Stone by bus.
The nearest bus stop is on Combe Road (opposite Combe Down Nursery) in Combe Down, Bath. There is also a second bus stop slightly further away on Church Road, in Combe Down (just outside of Combe Down Primary School). The bus stop is 0.0 miles / 0.0 km from Museum of Bath Stone.

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Bath WAV by calling 01225 920887. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

There is parking near the venue. Parking is free.
The Museum of Bath Stone has no allocated drop-off point; however, off site road parking is available on Combe Road, Westerleigh Road and Church Road and these roads should allow for passengers to disembark safely. There is also a Bus Stop along Combe Road (opposite Combe Down Nursery), that can be used by larger vehicles such as coaches or minibuses. There is also a courtesy (non-enforceable) accessible parking bay in front of the museum. However, we are regrettably unable to guarantee the use of this parking space. From the car park to the entrance, there is level access.

The main entrance has level access.
The door is 1400mm wide.
The main door is sliding and automatic.

The museum has a pair of automatic, bi-parting sliding entrance doors and during opening hours, these open automatically for all visitors.

The automatic, bi-parting sliding doors will also open automatically upon each visitor's exit.
