Welcome

Our luxury New Forest coastal cottage is exceptionally well equipped, kept to a very high standard and provides incomparable self-catering holiday accommodation. Visit Britain has awarded Mulberry Barn 5 stars together with a ‘gold’ certificate – their top accolade.

Located on a quiet road and within a five minute stroll to Milford on sea village, which has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, it is ideally located for enjoying the local beaches or exploring the nearby picturesque New Forest National Park. 

Mulberry Barn welcomes families and is non-smoking. Sorry no pets

Travel by public transport

You can get to Mulberry Barn by train.
The nearest train station is New Milton. The train station is 4 miles / 6.4 km from Mulberry Barn.

Fast main line trains from Waterloo take approx one hour 45 minutes. More trains stop at nearby Brockenhurst station. (8 miles away)

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Galleon Taxis by calling 01425 622222 or 01425 611111.

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point does not have a dropped kerb.
From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. The route is 2mm wide, or more.

Arrival entrance is through a private drive way with parking for two vehicles. The driveway entrance is not particularly wide - fine for a car but a van may find it difficult.

We have contrast markings on all glass doors and high colour contrast between walls and doorframes.

Lights are halogen, LED and energy saving. Some lights can be controlled independently.
Some TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.

We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.
No bedrooms have level access. The bedroom nearest the main entrance has 14 steps.
All bedrooms are ensuite.

The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the left and right.

Walk up Lymington road and after 400 yards there is an entrance that takes you on a footpath across some local fields
We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.
