Travel by public transport

You can get to M&S Company Archive by bus and train.
The nearest bus stop to the Archive is for the number 56 bus on the corner of Moorland Road and Clarendon Road, next to the University of Leeds Business School. The bus stop is 0.2 miles / 0.3 km from M&S Company Archive.
The nearest train station is Leeds. The train station is 1.2 miles / 1.9 km from M&S Company Archive.

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Eurocabs by calling 0113 277 2299. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
You can get a taxi with Amber Cars by calling 0113 202 2117. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.

The Archive has two Blue Badge spaces in front of the building. There are no other parking spaces on site.

To park in the Blue Badge spaces or to drop off, come through the red and white barrier off Clarendon Road. Press the buzzer and explain you are visiting the M&S Archive.

Getting around inside

Visual Impairment - General Information

We have contrast markings on all glass doors, contrast markings on all full-height windows and high colour contrast between walls and doorframes.
Some parts of the venue have low lighting.

Ticket/ information desk

Visitor Reception Desk

From the main entrance to the desk, there is level access. The door is 1010mm wide, or more.
The desk has a low section.

Things to See and Do

We have display information in: audio and large print.

Marks In Time Exhibition

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. Some display information is low, for wheelchair users. There are seats.
There is a hearing loop.
Videos have subtitles.

Public toilet

Accessible Toilet

There is a public toilet for disabled visitors.
From the main entrance to the public toilet, there is level access. The toilet door is 910mm wide.
There is 1600mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 480mm high.

Shop

Archive Gift Shop

From the main entrance to the shop, there is level access. The route through the shop is 800mm wide, or more.

Seminar Room

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. The door is 860mm wide.

We have one wheelchair which can be borrowed free of charge from Reception.

There is a grassed area behind the building which can be used as a toilet area for assistance dogs.
