Welcome

Langmead Guest House is a friendly and welcoming five bed roomed Bed and Breakfast conveniently situated close to Ramsgate Station and local bus stops. We have a good area of off street parking at the front of the property. Ramsgate Royal Harbour, sandy beaches and restaurants, pubs and bars are a stroll away or a short hop on the Loop bus.

A full English breakfast with fruit juice, cereals, fruit salad, yogurt and freshly brewed coffee is served in the spacious dining room overlooking the back garden, where breakfast can be served on sunny mornings. There is a guest lounge where you can relax after a busy day.

You can get to Langmead Guest House by bus and train.
The nearest bus stop, Chatham Court, is just round the corner in Station Road Approach The bus stop is 0.1 miles / 0.2 km from Langmead Guest House.
The nearest train station is Ramsgate. The train station is 0.5 miles / 0.8 km from Langmead Guest House.

Ramsgate Station is a 10 minute walk away. A taxi takes 2 minutes and the Loop bus approximately 6 minutes.

We have non-allergic bedding.
All bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.
No bedrooms have level access. The bedroom nearest the main entrance has 14 steps.
We have bathrooms with a separate shower.
We have bathrooms with a bath and overhead shower. The shower has a handrail.

We can read the menu to guests if requested
There is no background music.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.
We cater for sugar free (diabetic), vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), nut free, low fat, low potassium, low sodium, high fibre, vegan, kosher, halal specific diets.
We will try to cater for other specific diets when notified in advance.

Tables and seats can be rearranged to meet individual needs, if requested in advance.

From the main entrance to the smoking area, there is level access. The route is 690mm wide, or more.
The entrance is 840mm wide.
The smoking area has a shelter.

Smokers can smoke on the porch at the front of the house or in the back garden

The nearest toilet area for assistance dogs is located within the back garden, 15 metres from the main entrance.
We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.

Mobility scooters or battery charged wheelchairs can be charged in the guest lounge by arrangement.

Customer care support

All staff have disability awareness training.
Staff are available 24 hours a day.

The owner has many years experience working with people with learning disabilities and is able to offer support and information about local attractions where needed - a familarisation session in the local area for example.

We have other services for people with accessibility requirements.

We can provide support in reading the breakfast menu, understanding local transport and a familarisation session of the local area.
