Welcome

Land Rover Experience Scotland is the country's leading off-road driving centre. We concentrate Land Rover's legendary off-road expertise into safe, thrilling and true-to-life driving adventures. Guests drive one of our brand new Land Rovers or Range Rovers, tackling our specialist off-road obstacle course, and challenging themselves while having fun doing something a little bit different! Our Reception is at Butterstone Loch in Perthshire, and our driving centre is about 3 miles away in Dunkeld.

Please note that all vehicles used for our driving experiences are unmodified, factory specification cars.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Land Rover Experience Scotland by bus.
In the village of Butterstone. The bus stop is 0.3 miles / 0.5 km from Land Rover Experience Scotland.

Public transport is not good in this part of the countryside. There are occasional buses - for details please see www.traveline.info

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Dunkeld Cars by calling 07419115736.

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
In the car park, less than 50 metres from the entrance From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. The route is 1000mm wide, or more.

The route from the car park to the main entrance is level, but mostly gravel.

From the street to the main entrance, there is 1 step. There is no ramp and no lift.

The main entrance has level access.
The door is 800mm wide.
The main door is side hung and manual.

Getting around inside

Lift

We have 1 lift.
You can get a lift to all floors.

Lift to offices

The lift goes to the first floor, where only offices are located . Visitors do not need to access the first floor.

Ticket/ information desk

Reception Desk

From the main entrance to the desk, there is level access. The route is 770mm wide, or more.
The desk has a low section.

Public toilet

Disabled access toilet

There is a public toilet for disabled visitors.
From the main entrance to the public toilet, there is level access. The route is 770mm wide, or more.
The toilet door is 850mm wide.
The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the right.
There is 900mm at the side of the toilet. There is 1000mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 470mm high. The toilets have handrails.

Place to eat and drink

Dining Room

From the main entrance to the dining area, there is level access. The route is 770mm wide, or more. The door is 770mm wide.
To get to a table, there are no steps.
The route through the dining area is 800mm wide, or more.
There is no background music.
We cater for vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), nut free and vegan specific diets.

Getting around outside

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. The route is 1000mm wide, or more. The entrance is 1000mm wide.

This area is in front of the building - no doors or width restrictions to get from the car park to this area

There is a garden area close to the main building which is a suitable (but not designated) toilet area for assistance dogs.
