Welcome

The Howard Arms is a glorious Cotswolds restaurant and bed & breakfast, peacefully overlooking the old chestnut tree on the green, it lies in the heart of the idyllic village of Ilmington.

Inside, the fire crackles and the bar bustles with locals and visitors drinking from our carefully chosen selection of ales, beers and wine. Our award-winning chef has created a menu of top-quality pub favourites alongside imaginative starters, mains and irresistible puddings. There are 8 spoiling bedrooms, full of comfort and character with a hearty breakfast included in the price. The atmosphere is warm and easy-going, and the staff are renowned for their friendliness and efficiency.

Front Street, Ilmington (Opposite The Howard Arms) The bus stop is 0.1 miles / 0.2 km from The Howard Arms.

Parking

We have a car park. There are accessible parking spaces. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point does not have a dropped kerb.
From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.

We have a transport service, to take visitors from the car park to the main entrance. Our transport service is wheelchair accessible.

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, wall lights, floor standing lights, bedside lamps, desk or table lamps, spot lights and natural daylight.
Lights are LED, energy saving and traditional filament. TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
Some bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We have wi-fi free bedrooms, for visitors with electro-sensitivity.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.

The bedroom is twin. The bathroom is ensuite. The bathroom door is 800mm wide.
The bathroom has a separate shower. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. There is a shower chair available. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the right. There is 300mm at the side of the toilet.
There is 500mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 400mm high.
The basin is 800mm high. There is space under the basin, with no pedestal or boxing.

We cater for sugar free (diabetic), vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), nut free, low fat, vegan, kosher and halal specific diets.
