The Hoolet is a comfortable, contemporary home built over 4 levels. Green Tourism Award.
We have tried to minimise the allergen load in the house. Hypoallergenic bedding; eco-friendly cleaning materials and procedures. No animals are permitted.
Three short flights of stairs internally; wheelchair access from pavement to porch & front door: that level has the lounge and a bedroom with king-size bed, ensuite with toilet, wash basin and shower. The kitchen, dining room, balcony, deck, utility room and back door are all on a level seven steps below the front door: two twin-bedded rooms, bathroom & study are above the front door level. Drive for parking cars.

Free parking in quiet road directly outside gently sloped paved entrance path from pavement: direct route from firm gravel drive to entrance path involves 3 steps: detour via pavement to front door avoiding steps is about 30 yards long

The Kitchen
The kitchen, dining room, utility room, balcony, sheltered deck and back door are all on the same level one flight of seven steps with a handrail on one side below the level of the front door.

The balcony
The balcony is off the dining room and has a doorway threshold about 2 inches high. It gets morning sun until early afternoon.

Access to the garage for storing and charging mobility scooters & wheelchairs can easily be arranged on request
Emergency evacuation procedures
There is a mains powered interlinked smoke and heat fire alarm system (with battery back up) and there are emergency torches in each bedroom. There is a fire safety policy and "what to do in the event of fire" policy displayed in the kitchen, on the notice board and in the house information folder
