Welcome

Home Farm is made up of 5 self-catering holiday cottages set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Somerset, near Cheddar, and are ideally situated to explore the historic towns of Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol, Glastonbury and Bath.

With a backdrop of the Mendip Hills, and in close proximity to Crook Peak, these recently refurbished cottages (rated 4* Gold by VisitEngland). are set within 2 acres of surrounding fields with beautiful views overlooking the Loxton Valley.

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.

There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.

From the parking to the main entrance, there are 3 steps. There is no ramp and no lift.

Car is parked immediately outside garden gate - a few yards from the Cottage front door.

The main door is side hung and manual.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.

Bedrooms have ceiling lights, bedside lamps and natural daylight.

Lights are LED and energy saving. All bedrooms are non-smoking.

All bedrooms have fitted carpets.

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access.

Door from entrance hall to lounge shows a 90 degree turn after entering the door.

Home Farm Guest Laundry

From the main entrance to the laundry, there is level access. The route is 900mm wide, or more. The door is 900mm wide.

We have an iron and ironing board. You can use the ironing board sitting down.

Iron and Ironing board are in each cottage (not in Guest Laundry). They are initially stored in an upstairs bedroom but can be bought downstairs upon request.

Self catering kitchen

We have a separate kitchen and dining room. From the main entrance to the kitchen, there is level access.

The route is 900mm wide, or more.

The door is 900mm wide.

From the main entrance to the kitchen, there is 1 step. There is no lift and no ramp.

The work surface is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.

The hob is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.

The sink is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.

The oven is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.

From the main entrance to the dining room, there is level access. The route is 900mm wide, or more. The door is 900mm wide.

Lounge

From the main entrance to the lounge, there is level access. The route is 800mm wide, or more. The door is 800mm wide.

Hallway to lounge is via a 900 door with an immediate 90 degree turn.

Customer care support

Hayloft cottage has an attached enclosed garden, and our two fields are 10 yards from the garden gate.

We have other services for people with accessibility requirements.

We can provide certain things - such as suction grips for bath/shower - please ask the owners with any requests.
