Welcome

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is a heritage railway in North Yorkshire, England. Join us to enjoy a family day out and experience the magic of steam and heritage diesel trains. Relax in one of our vintage carriages as we take you on a scenic journey through the beautiful North York Moors National Park.

Step back in time at Grosmont station to the 1950's, with pretty tearooms, gift shop and 1950s themed displays. It's also home to our elegant Pullman Dining train and engine sheds where our steam and diesel locomotives are maintained and restored.
