Welcome

At "Gorgeous Glamping at Hoe Grange" we want to make everyone's stay as enjoyable as possible, and are committed to providing suitable access for all our guests, whatever their individual needs. We aim to accurately describe our facilities and services to give you the confidence to book the right accommodation for your specific requirements. Our glamping pods are not suitable for full time wheelchair users, but we do have alternative accomadation on site that is specifically designed to meet those needs.

Hoe Grange is a secluded rural farm with no direct public transport links.

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.

There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.

From the parking to the main entrance, there is 1 step. There is no ramp and no lift.

The pods are approached along a sloping pathway surfaced with loose stones, and automatic lighting

Swallow pod has a level access, but Skykark pod has 1 small step of 170mm

We have high colour contrast between walls and doorframes.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.

Bedrooms have ceiling lights, wall lights and natural daylight.

Lights are LED. All bedrooms are non-smoking.

We have non-allergic bedding.

No bedrooms have fitted carpets.

Skylark pod is pet free and Natural eco-friendly cleaning products are used throughout.

From the main entrance to the laundry, there is 1 step. There is no lift and no ramp.

We have an iron and ironing board. You can use the ironing board sitting down.

Guests are welcome to use the laundy facitlies which are situated near the farm house, down a steep slope. Sevice wash available on request at additional charge.

Self catering kitchen

We have an open plan kitchen.

The work surface is available with clear underspace and available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.

The oven is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.

The table and plates have high colour contrast.

This is only a small kitchenette with limited facilities please ask if you require kitchen items to be bought to a lower level.

Lounge

From the main entrance to the lounge, there is level access.

The lounge incorporates the fold out sofa bed.

Shop

Small honesty shop

From the main entrance to the shop, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 740mm wide, or more. The door is 740mm wide.

The route through the shop is 800mm wide, or more.

Our shop stocks a small selection of basic food supplies, including local cheese, milk, and homebaked bread, as well as postcards, prints and and local crafts

Getting around outside

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access.

The outdoor seating area a loose stoned surface and is on a slope. There are 2 picnic benches, a firepit/BBQ and a swing seat so you can truly relax and watch the wildlife.

Secure Cycle Shelter

The lockable cycle shelter is situated half way down the steep slope to the farmyard and can be used by guests for storing their own bicycles whilst on holiday. There is a warm hose pipe for washing down bicycles, walking boots and your dogs muddy paws.

We provide wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are free.

We have a hearing loop in a portable form on request.

Off road mobility scooter, toilet raiser, toilet frame, shower stool, vacuum attached grab handle in shower, deaf gard portable fire alarm, wake n shake alarm.

There is a grass area immediately outside pod, with further walks across the farm fields.

We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.
