Welcome

Forest Way White Loch is a luxury lochside self catering holiday property situated in the village of Colvend on the Solway Coast. The property comprises the main house sleeping 10 plus a self contained studio apartment sleeping an additional 4. In addition there is a boathouse at the loch with bar plus an outdoor hot tub overlooking the loch itself. 

Access to the main house is by 2 small steps and once on the ground floor there is level access to lounge and bedroom areas. One of the ground floor bedrooms has a walk-in shower. 

The outdoor deck area also has level access.

The route to the bedroom is 750mm wide, or more.
There is unobstructed floor space 1200mm by 900mm, or more.

We have emergency evacuation procedures for disabled visitors.

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. From the parking to the main entrance, there are 2 steps. There is no ramp and no lift.

Parking is possible immediately outside main entrance.

Arrival

The path is 4000mm wide, or more.
The path is sloped.

The door is 800mm wide.
The main entrance has 2 steps.
The main door is side hung and manual.
When you arrive, we can help carry your luggage.

We are always at the property to meet new arrivals. We are also always in attendance on guests' departure.

Getting around inside

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, floor standing lights, bedside lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are halogen, LED, energy saving and traditional filament. TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
All bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.
From the main entrance to this area, there is level access.

Self catering kitchen

We have an open plan kitchen.
From the main entrance to the kitchen, there are 2 steps. There is no lift and no ramp.
The work surface is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.
The hob is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.
The sink is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.
The oven is available at a height between 650mm and 900mm.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.

Lounge

Main house lounge

From the main entrance to the lounge, there is level access. The route is 1840mm wide, or more. The door is 1520mm wide.

Snug main house

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. The route is 800mm wide, or more.
The door is 700mm wide.

Getting around outside

From the main entrance to the gardens, there is level access.
The route is 1800mm wide, or more.

There is level access to a decked area in the garden.  Access to the rest of the garden would involve several steps.

Terrace

The entrance is 1700mm wide.
To get to a table, there are 2steps steps.

From the main entrance to the area, there are 20 steps.

Customer care support

This is a self catering property and as such there are no staff. There are two owners who meet guests on arrival and departure and are available by phone during guests' stay.
