Public toilet
Public disabled toilet
There is one disabled toilet complete with pull cord alarm which activates both sound and light. The toilet has contrasting colour handrails behind the toilet and both sides of the toilet, the right one is fixed and the left one moveable.
The sink tap is activated via a motion sensor under the tap and the sink is approx. 740mm off the floor. The hairdryer is hot air and is considered quite loud, it is approx. 990mm of the floor. There are two medical waste bins in the toilet and one sanitary bin. All the bins can be moved if needed.
Lighting within the toilets is fluorescent lighting and natural light.
Baby changing facilities are located in the public disabled toilets.

There is selection of hot and cold food available. Staff can assist with reading the menu.
The fridge is self-service, but staff are available to assist customers.
Staff will assist visitors as required if they are experiencing difficulty.
There are picnic benches close by.
Getting around outside
National Forest Way walking route
A scenic footpath heads past the café and through a small woodland from the southern end of the car park. The path has some slight slopes, but none that are steep. There are stunning views of the reservoir is on the right. The path continues but becomes unsuitable for wheelchairs once you reach the cascade, an area with a large green fence and a steep slope just past a left-hand bend.

Dam View trail
A shorter footpath leads from the café towards the reservoir edge and back towards the car park. This 237metre route gives gorgeous views of the reservoir and surrounding area. The start and end of this trail are within 50 metres of the disabled car parking

Dam wall car park to cafe and toilets
The path from the dam wall car park to the café and toilets is 350metres long. The path is hard- crushed gravel surface and tarmac. The path is 1600mm wide or more. The path runs through a grassy area, then crosses a road via a pedestrian crossing. It then heads past the play area. Take a right turn at the wooden gazebo, through the small woodland, then across the Visitor Hub car park to the toilets and café. Be careful when crossing any roads or car parks for vehicles.

From the disabled car park bays to the picnic benches, there are no paths. To reach the benches, the route is on the grass which can be muddy when wet. There two benches a short distance away from the disabled bays. The tables are 840mm high and the seats are 380mm off the ground.

From the dam wall car park, there are five picnic benches in total.To reach the benches, the route is on the grass which can be muddy when wet. Two tables have space for wheelchair users.The tables are 860mm high and the seats are 500mm from the ground. You can bring your own food to the picnic area.
