Travel by public transport

You can get to Finkley Down Farm by bus and train.

The closest bus stop is South Way on Walworth Business Park, roughly a 10 minute walk from the farm. The number 13 bus from andover bus station stops here. The number 76 bus from Andover- Basingstoke, Basingstoke to andover stop here. Walk along the Walworth Road toward Picket Piece, turning left up the hill following the brown sign to Finkley Down Farm. The bus stop is 0.5 miles / 0.8 km from Finkley Down Farm .

The nearest train station is Andover . The train station is 2.4 miles / 3.9 km from Finkley Down Farm .

You will need to take a taxi from the train station to farm. 

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Alpha Cars by calling 01264 444 444. You can get a taxi with Apex Cars by calling 01264 355555. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

We have a car park. There are accessible parking spaces. Parking is free.

There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point does not have a dropped kerb.

From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.

The path is sloped.

Disabled Parking in situated in our top carpark, please head under the railway bridge. The car park is on your right

The main door is side hung and manual.

From the main entrance to the desk, there is level access.

Things to See and Do

We have a complimentary ticket policy for personal assistants.

Public toilet

There is a public toilet for disabled visitors.

From the main entrance to the public toilet, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.

The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the right.

A Changing Places toilet has been installed 

Shop

Tommy Tractors Toy Shop

From the main entrance to the shop, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The door is 800mm wide.

The route through the shop is 800mm wide, or more.

Indoor Soft Play Barn

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.

From the car park to the picnic area, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. Some tables have space for wheelchair users. You can bring your own food to the picnic area.

Picnic Tables are spread across a grassy area. 

Smoking

From the main entrance to the smoking area, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 1100mm wide, or more.

The entrance is 1100mm wide.

Smoking is only allowed in the carpark 

outdoor play

An array of outdoor play equipment. Sand pit, music sensory garden, jumping pillows, go carts, ride on tractors, zip line 

Animal Areas

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 900mm wide, or more. The entrance is 900mm wide.

Animal areas. Paths around for ease for assess. Animals in this area include rabbits, ducks, turkeys, horses, donkeys, reptiles and pigs 

We provide wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are free.
