The main entrance has 5 steps and a handrail. There is no lift and no ramp.

The route to the bedroom is 750mm wide, or more.
The bathroom has a level access shower.

Travel by public transport

You can only get to Kidlandlee by car as we are quite remote and three miles from the main road. In the winter it is advisable to use a four wheel drive. 

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
The drop off point is at the front gate where there is three steps up and a short walk to the main door. There is a back gate big enough for a car to drive through which takes you up to the door to the middle bedroom. This is a level area. From the parking to the main entrance, there are 3 steps. There is no ramp and no lift.

The door is 330mm wide.
The main entrance has 5 steps.
This entrance has a handrail.
The other entrance door is 330.00mm wide.
There is a single door to the side of Dipper Cottage that you can drive up to. This on a level and will take you straight into the middle Kingsize bedroom. You can access the rest of the cottage from this bedroom and it is all on one level.

Getting around inside

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, bedside lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are LED and energy saving. All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
No bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.
From the main entrance to this area, there is level access.
The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the right.

Accessible bedrooms

Accessible bedroom The middle Kingsize bedroom has level access to all areas of Dipper Cottage and is opposite a walk in wet room. It also has access to the living/ dinning room and kitchen and the garden.

The route to the bedroom is 750mm wide, or more. The bedroom door is 330mm wide. The bedroom is flexible (either double or twin). The bathroom is separate. It is not an ensuite.

The bathroom has a separate shower. The bathroom has a level access shower. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the left. The taps are lever operated. There is no space under the basin.

From the Kigsize bedroom you can access the picnic and BBQ area. 

Customer care support

Dipper Cottage is dog friendly and has an enclosed garden. There is a field directly opposite Dipper Cottage for doggies to run around and there are dog buns at the entrance. We provide towels, bowls, dog bags and a little treat for doggies. Also a map of walks around the estate and places to wash muddy paws.
