Welcome

We are a 6 guest room bed and breakfast on in Hugh Town, St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly.  Crebinick House offers comfortable accommodation in its 6 ensuite bedrooms, 2 of which are on the ground floor.  We welcome couples, families and groups.

We have non-allergic bedding.

Level access bedrooms

The route to the bedroom is 750mm wide, or more.
The bedroom door is 750mm wide, or more.
There is unobstructed floor space 1200mm by 900mm, or more.

The (bedroom) TVs have subtitles.

Visual

The walls and the doors have high colour contrast.
The menu is in large print and we can explain the menu options on request.

General

Staff are available 24 hours a day.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Crebinick House by boat or ferry.
The nearest port is St Mary's Harbour. The port is 0.5 miles / 0.8 km from Crebinick House.

St Mary's airport is 2 miles away and the SkyBus passenger transport will bring you to our door.

You can get a taxi with Toots Taxi by calling 01720422142.

Parking

There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point does not have a dropped kerb.

The main door is side hung and manual.

We have high colour contrast between walls and doorframes.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, bedside lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are fluorescent tube and energy saving. TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
All bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.

Accessible bedrooms

Accessible bedroom Rooms 1 and 2 are ground floor rooms and may be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties but please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

The bedroom is flexible (either double or twin). The bathroom is ensuite. The bathroom has a separate shower. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the front only. There is no space under the basin.

From the main entrance to the lounge, there is level access.

The lounge has a range of sofas and armchairs.

From the main entrance to the dining area, there is 1 step. There is no lift and no ramp.
To get to a table, there is 1 step.
The menu is offered in large print .

If you need table service, staff can help you.
There is no background music.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.
We cater for sugar free (diabetic), vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free), vegan specific diets.
If you have specific dietary requirements then please contact us and we will advise if we can accommodate these.

We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.
