Travel by public transport

You can get to Clea Hall Holiday Park by bus and train.
Nearest bus stops to Clea Hall Holiday Park are Caldbeck or Red Dial. Both are approximately 3 miles away. There is also a village mini bus service available which requires booking in advance. The bus stop is 3 miles / 4.8 km from Clea Hall Holiday Park.
The nearest train station is Wigton. The train station is 5 miles / 8.1 km from Clea Hall Holiday Park.

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point does not have a dropped kerb.
From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.

The route is 1200mm wide, or more.

The carpark is 5 meters away from reception.

The front has (5 Steps)

The side access has a ramp.

The main front door does have a raised threshold.

Visual Impairment - General Information

We have contrast markings on all glass doors and high colour contrast between walls and doorframes.

From the main entrance to reception, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.
The door is 760mm wide.
The check-in desk has a low section for wheelchair users. You can sit down at reception.

The main reception entrance threshold is raised by 4 inches.

You can park next to your tent and caravan.
The toilets have handrails.
The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the right.
There is 1170.00 at the side of the toilet.
There is 2000.00 in front of the toilet.
The toilet seat is 440mm high.
The basin is 770mm high. The taps are lever operated. There is space under the basin, with no pedestal or boxing.

From the main entrance to the laundry, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 1200mm wide, or more. The door is 760mm wide.
We have an iron and ironing board. You can use the ironing board sitting down.

From the main entrance to the swimming pool changing area, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 780mm wide, or more.
The door is 780mm wide.
There is a wide changing cubicle, for wheelchair users.
From changing area to the swimming pool, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp. The route is 780mm wide, or more.
The door is 760mm wide.

The changing area is the accessible toilet.

There is a sloped incline from the changing area to the swimming pool.

From the main entrance to the public toilet, there is level access. There is a permanent ramp.

Getting around outside

Designated Walking Trail

The Wooded Trail

The trail is 60metres long. Some of the trail has a loose surface. Uneven surfaces, leaves, mounds, roots The trail is sloped.

The Wooded Trail would not be reccommended for wheel chair users.

However there are plenty of open spaces around the park. 

The main area has levelled access.

From the main entrance to this area, there is level access. The route is 1200mm wide, or more. The entrance is 3000mm wide.

Our accessible toilet can accommodate assistance dogs. This can be found by the main entrance at the front of the holiday park.
We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.

Please ask reception for details. We can provide a covered area close to a power socket suitable for charging.

We have emergency evacuation procedures for disabled visitors.
