Welcome

We offer 2 Gold Award winning luxury self catering holiday country cottages on our organic farm situated in Dovedale within the Peak District National Park, Derbyshire. Our Dovedale Cottages are Grade II listed and have a cosy "Country Living" feel in one of the most peaceful and tranquil settings deep in the heart of the Peak District National Park, with stunning scenery in all directions. These lovingly restored cottages are situated in a truly unique position at the top of Hall Dale in Stanshope and therefore are ideally positioned for the Dovedale and Manifold Valleys.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Church Farm Cottage by bus and train.
The nearest bus stop is at Alsop Station on the A515 The bus stop is 3 miles / 4.8 km from Church Farm Cottage.
The nearest train station is Derby. The train station is 22 miles / 35.4 km from Church Farm Cottage.

There are also train stations at Matlock and Buxton which are both 16 miles from the accommodation. However, these are branch lines and have fewer trains.

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Ashbourne Taxis by calling 01335 345198. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

We have a car park. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.
The nearest drop-off point is at the gate to the cottage. There is a short limestone rough path from the gate to the front door. From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. The route is 850mm wide, or more.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, wall lights, bedside lamps, desk or table lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are LED. TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
No bedrooms have fitted carpets.
No bedrooms have level access. We have bathrooms with a separate shower.
The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the front only.
