Travel by public transport

You can get to Carlton George Hotel by bus and train.
The nearest bus stop is Buchanan Bus Station. The bus stop is 0.4 miles / 0.6 km from Carlton George Hotel.
The nearest train station is Glasgow Queen Street Station. The train station is 0.1 miles / 0.2 km from Carlton George Hotel.

Please note that West George Street is closed to all vehicles except buses and taxis from 07.00 to 19.00 daily. Therefore no offloading is possible during these times.

The hotel does not have it's own car park, but we do have discounted agreements with the near by Buchanan Galleries and NCP Car Parks. Both car parks can be reached with a 5 - 10 minute walk.

Travel by taxi

You can get a taxi with Glasgow Taxis by calling 0141 429 7070. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point does not have a dropped kerb.

Please note that West George Street is closed to all vehicles except buses and taxis from 07.00 to 19.00 daily. Therefore no offloading is possible during these times.

Lights are LED. Some lights can be controlled independently.

From the main entrance to the bedroom, there is level access. There is a lift. The route to the bedroom is 1100mm wide, or more. The bedroom door is 1000mm wide. There is 800mm at the side of the bed. The bed is 700mm high. There is 30mm under the bed.
The bedroom is double. The bathroom is ensuite. The bathroom door is 930mm wide.
The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. The shower has a handrail. The toilets have handrails. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the front only. There is 700mm at the side of the toilet.
There is 1200mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 420mm high.
The basin is 840mm high. The taps are lever operated. There is space under the basin, with no pedestal or boxing.
The bathroom has an emergency call system.

From the main entrance to the dining area, there is level access. There is a lift. From the lift to dining area, the route is 1400mm wide, or more. The door is 970mm wide.
To get to a table, there are no steps.
If you need table service, staff can help you.
The route through the dining area is 800mm wide, or more.
There is background music.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.
We cater for vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free) and vegan specific diets.
