Brocksbushes is a family owned and run Farm Shop, which has evolved over the last 25 years from an acre of soft fruit with a tiny farm shop which was open for 8 weeks in the year to a thriving rural Retail Centre with an award winning Farm Shop, Tea Room (open all year round) and Pick Your Own Fruit (when in season).

As a family-run business situated in the heart of the Tyne Valley, we are passionate about the fantastic local produce that is made and grown in the North of England. Our homegrown fruit, asparagus and pumpkins, plus the delicious food we make here in our Farm Kitchen, make up part of our extensive range of locally produced goods.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Brocksbushes Tea Room by bus.

The bus stop is named 'Styford' or you can ask for Brocksbushes0.0 The bus stop is 0.3 miles / 0.5 km from Brocksbushes Tea Room.

The X84/X85 routes pass by the access tunnel for Brocksbushes. Ask the driver for Brocksbushes when you get on, they should stop outside the entrance to the tunnel. Enter the tunnel with caution - cars and bicycles can come from either direction and it is dark inside the tunnel, and there is no marked pedestrian walkway. Use the tunnel at your own risk. When you exit the tunnel, follow the road right towards the Farm Shop. You can take the tarmac road, or cross the grass. The bus stop is 0.25 miles / 136.7 km / 136.7 km from Brocksbushes Farm Shop.

Parking

We have a car park. There are accessible parking spaces. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.

There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb.

From the car park to the entrance, there is level access. The path is sloped.

Our car park is partly tarmac (including the designated accessible parking area), some is loose stone/gravel and during busy periods the overflow parking is on the grass. There is a slight incline towards the entrance, which is paved though there are gravel areas.
You are welcome to drop off outside the main entrance.
We are happy to welcome coaches, caravans and larger vehicles, though there is no overnight parking.

We have a variety of vegetarian and vegan dining options. We also serve gluten free options including bread for sandwiches/soup, gluten free scones and chocolate brownie. We stock non-dairy milk and will be happy to assist as much as possible with your dietary requirements.

Getting around outside

From the main entrance to the area, there is 1 step.

There is one shallow step from the Tea Room to the outdoor dining area which can easily be traversed by a wheelchair or pushchair. Please ask a member of staff for assistance if needed.

Customer care support

Our car park has large grassy areas where assistance dogs are welcome to exercise and toilet. The nearest part is approximately 20m from the main entrance.
