Welcome

Nestling in the Mendip hills, one mile from the centre of the cathedral city of Wells, Beryl is a Victorian Country House set in 13 acres of parkland. Within the grounds are finely manicured lawns, carefully tended borders and a Victorian walled garden. Your arrival will be greeted with warmth and courtesy, the epitome of country house hospitality and complementary afternoon tea/coffee and cake awaits you. The Beryl team will do everything we can to accommodate your requirements, within the limits of what this grand old house will allow us!
