The Art Deco HouseUK, which is also known as Marine Villa, Charleston House and Culver Down Manor is an iconic large Art Deco House built in 1929 and offered as a whole house self catering property. Ideal for multi-generational gatherings for celebrations, holidays and weekend getaways. Sleeping up to 14 adults and 5 children (sharing rooms). The moment you see this magnificent house with its opulent windows and the green roof, you enter via the large front door into the beautiful entrance hall with its stained glass windows. Immediately you are transported back to the days after the Wall Street Crash, when Art Deco simply meant luxury, glamour, exuberance and faith in social and technological progress.

Travel by public transport
Car Ferries are operated by Wightlink and Red Funnel, and passenger travel by Hovertravel, Wightlink and Red Funnel to various locations on the Isle of Wight, select where you land by first looking at your departure port. It does not make a lot of different where you land on the Isle of Wight, although Fishbourne is probably the quickest.

There is a dedicated entrance for wheelchair users which goes straight into the mobility bedroom with no steps. A portable ramp is available which helps you get over the initial threshold into the house from the car park. You can park less than a metre from the accessible entrance

The Family Bedroom

Getting around outside
By exiting from the Accessible entrance (1.33 wide door) there are no steps to reach the garden. You travel around the outside of the house, through the wooden gate (large gate, approx 1.5M wide) and down the sie to the garden, there is a concrete path with then take you to the grass area
Large lawn area to the rear of the property of approximately ½ acre with trees and shrubs, fenced/walled and three ornamental ponds, the garden is not suitable to leave children unattended.
