Welcome

Just for grown ups, our hotel is idyllically situated close to the sandy beach, entertainments, shopping centre and Outer Harbour, perfect for a getaway or business trip. We have 27 rooms, a restaurant and bar serving fabulous food and un-restricted parking. Not forgetting the wonderful individuals who work here and make our guests feel so welcome!

Our impressive Victorian building is full of homely charm and contemporary style after years of refurbishment and expansion.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Andover House Hotel & Restaurant by train.
The nearest train station is Great Yarmouth. The train station is 1.7 miles / 2.7 km from Andover House Hotel & Restaurant.

Trains run every day from Norwich.

You can get a taxi with Albies Taxi's by calling 01493 331111. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Parking

We have plenty of un-restricted street parking but can not guarantee spaces close to the hotel during the busy summer season.

This entrance has a handrail.

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, wall lights, floor standing lights, bedside lamps, desk or table lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are LED. TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
We have non-allergic bedding.
All bedrooms have fitted carpets.
Ground Floor Superior Room

Place to eat and drink

The Copper Kitchen

From the main entrance to the dining area, there are 4 steps. There is no lift and no ramp.
To get to a table, there are no steps.
There is background music.
We cater for vegetarian, gluten free (celiacs), lactose free (dairy free) and vegan specific diets.

Breakfast Room

From the main entrance to this area, there are 14 steps. There is no lift and no ramp.

We are happy to serve guests breakfast in the ground floor restaurant if they are unable to access the breakfast room downstairs.

The nearest toilet area for assistance dogs is located within the street at the front of the property, 3 metres from the main entrance.
We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.

There is no designated socket but we are happy to assist with this on the ground floor at reception.
