Welcome

Agnes Blackadder Hall offers bed and breakfast in three-star campus accommodation with modern en-suite bedrooms and a friendly service. It is the perfect base for those wanting to explore St Andrews, play golf on the famous links courses and discover all that the Kingdom of Fife can offer during the summer months.

All bedrooms feature an en-suite shower room, free toiletries, a double bed, a television, tea and coffee making facilities.

Travel by public transport

You can get to Agnes Blackadder Hall by bus and train.
The nearest stop is called the Old Course Hotel stop, though it isn't as far away as the name suggests. From that stop one must cross the road if coming from the north, and so if that's undesirable then the Petheram Bridge bus stop is a similar distance away at 0.3 miles. The bus stop is 0.3 miles / 0.5 km from Agnes Blackadder Hall.
The nearest train station is Leuchars. The train station is 5.4 miles / 8.7 km from Agnes Blackadder Hall.

Leuchars is St Andrews' main access to a train station and has regular bus services to St Andrews throughout the day.

We have a car park. There are accessible parking spaces. The parking is less than 50 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free.

All bedrooms have windows.
Bedrooms have ceiling lights, bedside lamps, desk or table lamps and natural daylight.
Lights are energy saving and traditional filament. Some TVs have subtitles.
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
All bedrooms have fitted carpets.
We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.

From the main entrance to the bedroom, there is level access. There is a ramp. The ramp is Permanent.
The route to the bedroom is 820mm wide, or more. The bedroom door is 820mm wide. There is 1500mm at the side of the bed. The bed is 700mm high. There is a low clothes rail. You can use the rail sitting down.
There is an emergency call system next to the bed.
The bedroom is flexible (either double or twin). The bathroom is ensuite. The bathroom door is 750mm wide.
The bathroom has a level access shower. The level access shower has a seat. There is a shower chair available. The level access shower has handrails.
The toilets have handrails. The direction of transfer onto the toilet is to the right. There is 700mm at the side of the toilet.
There is 750mm in front of the toilet. The toilet seat is 450mm high.
The basin is 900mm high. There is space under the basin, with no pedestal or boxing.
The bathroom has an emergency call system.
The walls and the bathroom fittings have high colour contrast.

Place to eat and drink

Forbes Bar-Cafe

From the main entrance to the dining area, there is level access. The route is 2000mm wide, or more. The door is 1500mm wide.
To get to a table, there are no steps.
The route through the dining area is 800mm wide, or more.
There is background music.
The table and plates have high colour contrast.
