Welcome
Discover the history of East Lothian in 1000 objects in this innovative interactive museum at the heart of the county of East Lothian in Haddington. Admission is free. Uncover how ordinary and extraordinary people earned their living and spent their time from the Stone Age to the present day. The museum hosts a changing programme of art and historical exhibitions including many curated by East Lothian residents. Most visitors take around half an hour to an hour to see everything.

The Museum entrance is in a pedestrian precint so no cars can drop off directly outside but there are parking bays in the High Street. There are also two disabled parking bays close by to the Museum entrance.
